What Is Your Favorite Song? You Can Only Pick 1!! Ok, I know this question, at least for me, changes a LOT. But my question to you is what is your absolutely FAVORITE SONG OF ALL TIME (or at least for today)????
Remember you can only pick 1!...no lists! Mine?? Right now at this moment in my life it is.... You Can't Always Get What You Want by The Rolling Stones. Best Song Eva!

You would have to better define "Favorte".
Favorte for what? News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

It changes now and then. For now I'll go with "Disorder" by Joy Division.

Ya know, it's been so long since I've listened to Unknown Pleasures that I'm completely drawing a blank on that song. I know it's the lead-off track (at least I hope it is, or my memory has totally left the building), but I'll be arsed if I can remember the tune at all. I'll have to pull out UP next... Probably predictable, but Like a Rolling Stone and Help are my favourite songs, I suppose.

Today it's "To Here Knows When" by My Bloody Valentine.
Yesterday it was "8 Point Agenda" by The Herbalizer. Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.

That's the song that captures all of their best qualities to their best advantage. For a long time, that would have been my pick as well - I spent most of the nineties completely obsessed with Loveless. My infatuation with that record has cooled off a fair bit over the years, but I still love that 'swarm-of-bees' guitar sound.

My infatuation with that record has cooled off a fair bit over the years, but I still love that 'swarm-of-bees' guitar sound. I still find it mesmerising. Although, I don't listen to Loveless every day anymore, and it's been a while since I last listened to it so I gave it a spin this morning on the way to work. I'm still hearing new things in it and I doubt I'll ever get tired of it. Did you know that some really, really dedicated fans have actually worked out the lyrics. How they managed to decipher them is beyond me. Here's a link to them if you're interested : http://www.mybloodyvalent...yrics.html Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.

Sometimes I think it's Pulp's "Do You Remember the First Time?"
That or Boz Scagg's "Lowdown". "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven
