Second all that. Well put. I saw the Riual De La Habitual show, with Primus and The Pixies opening up in SF...very good show. I miss JA.

Ex-Moderator | I, too, am a huge Jane's Addiction fan! Sadly, I never got to see them play during their hey-day, but was also at the Minneapolis show last year. When they came out for the second set on the little island on the main floor, a friend and I were right next to the stage. I couldn't stop squeezing his arm the whole time, I thought I might fall over just from the overwhelming awe of seeing Mr. Ferrell perform up close! ohhh what a night! |

I love Jane's! Or at least I did in the 80s. The studio stuff kinda left me cold, but the first live 'Jane's Addiction' album on XXX was a huge part of my life
I Would For You Whores The THUNDEROUS drum intro to Trip Away The freaky quiet part in the middle of Chip Away... hugely inspirational to me, has affected the way I pursue music ever since

I also really loved the popular Jane's bootleg from Chicago, 1988 I believe
first two songs Kettle Whistle and Obvious - I would listen to them over and over. just very powerful and 'Slow Divers' is such a lovely song too.

Janes and the Peppers are my 2 favourite bands (regardless of Prince/various side projects etc). If it wasn't 4 my love of (genius) john Frusciante I wish Dave Navarro and the Chili's worked out. However I'm really looking 4ward 2 the new Janes Addiction album. Both John and Dave have finally re-discovered thier musical soulmates (IMO).
