I know there are two things that people love:

1. My Music:Non Prince "VS." threads
2. Power ballads

So I figured since it's been a while since I've done a vs. thread, I'd stage a rollicking comeback with a competition between what I'm sure we can all agree are two of the best bands on the planet.

BUT WHICH ONE IS MORE CAPABLE OF BALANCING BAD-ASS WITH SENSITIVE?!?

It's a hard call, and that's why I'm putting the question out there.

I actually kind of like Whitesnake, whereas Nickelback can suck two vats of liquid ass for all I care.

No really I think Coverdale is much more than they give him credit for. He was not just the singer of a pop metal band from 80s(they did it the best btw). When he replaced Ian Gillan of Deep Purple is some of my favourite DP eras. Brilliant writer and one of the best vocalists ever.

we need more nickelheads up in this piece.

I used to like Nickelback alot but now I would only say that some of their songs are alrite. Most of the stuff they put out is total shit! Now I don't really know any White Snake but im sure they are better!

I never heard of Whitesnake before, which means they win. And even if I had heard them before and couldn't stand it at all, there's sill no way they'd loose against Nickelfart. That has to be the worst band EVER, and radio here constantly plays that crap. Damn, how I HATE that f*cking singer's voice.

Nickelback are one of the worst 'rock bands' ever. In fact, they may just be THE worst. No redeeming qualities, and basically define the shittyness of modern rock.

Whitesnake weren't exactly great either, though

Despite the pic in the first post, Whitesnake were much more manly. They get my vote. Nickelback are wimps.

I think ignorance is bliss and try to leave it at that. But I have this creeping suspicion that I'll be out one night and it will get me somewhere where I can't hide.
