This is a great cd!!Mos Def is incredible!

This CD got me through my first coporate job out of undergrad. I listened to Black on Both Sides and Common's Like Water for Chocolate daily in my cell, I mean cubicle.

Black on Both Sides is true hip hop. Mos Def's rhymes and flow are top shelf. The subject matter spans the gamut. I loved this CD so much that I saw him live at the HOB in Chicago. It was the first time that I had ever gone to a hip hop concert. He might have lost his mind with his second CD, but I still rock this one.

Mos Def is definitely an underappreciated artist in the game. He's also underappreciated for his poetic and acting talents as well. The cat definitely is blessed...
