George Michael - 25...?

Does anyone have any info on George's new album "25?" All I know is it seems to be a greatest hits album and will include a duet with Paul from The Beatles, both singing on George's song "Heal The Pain."

Anyone know a tracklisting? or anything like that??

I think it will be a christmasw release (December) the record label are waiting for the fall releases to come out before they start promoting this, also 'Affair' tanked so they will probably release another track first

how many singles will it take for his record label to see that every single song he will make will more than likely tank....

I heard it was coming out "October 30th"

I hope they stick with that date..

And I love Affair, I think it is ten times better then "SexyBack" "Call On Me" or any of the other summer releases this past summer. biggrin

lol. just like "shoot the dog" and "freeek". when the album was finally
released i was like 'huh? these songs are still on the album'.

they would have been better off leaving them as occasional singles stead
of releasing them on the album.

same will go for the new disc. singles will be more than a year old when
the album finally drops.

Have you heard "Freedom 93" ?

It is pretty much the same song, but live, and it sounds kind of different. Still amazing.

And yes "Freedom 90" is great. I remember when I first heard it, I wanted to learn all the words like at the first listen. I memorized that song hard core, listened to it ten million times. It is the second highest most played song on my computer. Love it. biggrin

I've been wondering about this tracklist too. Presumably it will contain 25 tracks and feature the usual suspects along with An Easier Affair, Amazing, Shoot The Dog, Freeek!, and probably Roxanne, plus a couple other new songs.

Shoot The Dog was a masterpiece mate. The most surreal protest song ever written - and one of the funniest.

Exactly, and I agree also about no roxanne!! Ick. "Songs From The Last Century" is probably my least favorite of his albums. I have big hopes for his new hits album, mainly because his last hits albums is one of my all time favorite hits collections.

about 2 years after the single was released? let it go man,
write some new songs for you album and keep the song for the
next compilation album already.
