More Good News For The Boss/Rolling Stone Magazine Gives "The Rising" Album A Five-Star Rating

More good news for Bruce Springsteen. Rolling Stone magazine critics (who are known to be stingy with their five star ratings of albums),rated Bruce's latest album a classic, giving it five stars ***. Bruce is also on the cover of the magazine.

Things are looking good for ole' Bruce. Plus he opened up his tour, in his hometown to an obvious great reception. Yeah, I agree with Supernova, something tells me he is going to be up for some grammy awards at next year's ceremony.

Certain Rolling Stone magazine critics r equally know 4 their personal agenda's. U can rate this album anything from mediocre to xcellent, but classic is pushing it.

With every listen I'm finding more reasons to Love it.

I've talked to a couple of friends who both agreed with me that this album gets better with each listen.

I think Rolling Stone gave Mick Jagger's last solo cd 5 stars.

they did&we all saw what happen to that ALbum? also He has to be one of Jann Wenner's Favorite's??I Wonder what it Cost Springsteen to Buy a 5 from Rolling Stone?? ask most People in the business to find 5 Good Songs on Most Albums let alone a 5 Star Album&you'll truly get Some Glasy-Eyed Looks??

I guess that means the Graffiti Bridge album is almost as good, since it was given 4 1/2 stars 12 years ago.

LOL...Hey but if you take out the other artists songs on it(and delete that GB song)...perhaps!!! I remember that RS review!!! But I did agree with what the reviewer said when he said that with the first four songs on GRAFFITI BRIDGE, Prince covered more ground musically than some artists cover in their entire career.

I remember that line. And I agree with you; it would have been much better without the songs you mention.
