used to really dislike her but her new album is actually uhm
kinda nice.

sounds grown up and well done with a lot of nice tunes. i've
had it on in the bg at work for a few days since last week n
i have to say it doesn't bore me yet.

It's not half as good as stripped was, although the second disc is pretty interesting. The lyrics are waaaay too self-centered and sappy and overall yuk.

Based on just the first single, it might be an ok cd. I bet it will beat the hell out of Janets new cd.

I really like the first dig. Even the song for the fans is good. The second disc I just kept skipping through save for one or two songs. That Fiona Appley one is pretty good.

I didn't get to hear a few songs because there were no workable files of them in Limewire. I heard MOST of it, however, and I friggin' love it. Better than Stripped? I don't know. A fairly great album in its own right? Most definitely! "Makes Me Wanna Pray", "Slow Down, Baby", "Still Dirrty", "Candyman", "Nasty Naughty Boy", "Hurt", "The Right Man"... too many winners to count. Her voice was spectacular, too.

And why does everything always have to be, 1) a ripoff of Madonna, and 2) automatically embarrassing just because it's popular/Top 40 material?

I'm looking forward to hearing this album; then again I've admired her talent in singing since she began her career.
