Blue Monday vs The Walk

Which came first, which do you prefer?

New Order - Blue Monday

The Cure - The Walk

I like them both

shrug They both sound the same to me.

But I will say "Blue Monday" since New Order came out with that first and skinny Bob obviously copied them.

Ive always thought they sounded the same, too. Same drum pattern especially. I'll have to go with Blue Monday, cause seeing them do it live was pretty cool.

hmmm Interesting. So I guess The Cure hasn't always wanted to follow in Joy Division's footsteps.

AllMusic.com seems to think "Blue Monday" came out first. Anyway, I have to say I prefer "The Walk."

Dig 'em both. Can't pick. They're 2 of my favorite bands, but these 2 songs are nowhere near the top of my list.

I absolutely adore both songs, but this is one rare instance where I would prefer the New Order track to the Cure one.

Of what? Reducing the title to an acronym, or that it would win?
