I Liked Him for a Minute in the 80's."Eyes without a Face" was cool&Steve Stevens who Played on Michael Jackson's "Dirty Diana"&Also Jill Jones's Prince Cover of "With You"had a moment as well.Billy was cool with me from 84-86.I got a funny Billy Idol Story: when I was about 15 or so I had never washed clothes Before so I had a Billy Idol Tank top&Put it in the washer&Used Clorox&My Billy Idol T-Shirt Came back with Billy Idol's Face looking like Dennis Rodman's.He had turned Dark because I used clorox which was wrong. He got Bleached inside the wash.

the very first concert i ever saw was billy idol's rebel yell tour when i was in ninth grade.

the messed up thing about it was my friend had tickets to both this tour and the purple rain tour. i begged her to take with her to the purple rain tour, but her mother would only let her brother go with her (for security reasons shrug ) so, i go the billy idol ticket as a consolation.

it was a good show, non the less lol.

awesome show...probably 100 degrees on the floor. i was maybe 10 feet from the stage...Billy still has his swagger after all these years, and Stevens is simply the best rock guitarist there is (sorry EVH and PRN)...Steve did a very cool flamenco-style solo, and practically put on a clinic the rest of the night. they did a couple new songs here and there, and surprised us during the encore with a cover of "Born To Be Wild." "Rebel Yell" was returned to its electric glory, after being done acoustically on last year's tour. this was my fourth Idol show, and third with Stevens...i can't say enough about Idol's band, they know the material inside out, not a flub to be found. and Stevens' playing is always my personal highlight of the show...i was hoping to drag my Steve Stevens model Hamer down there to possibly get autographed, but i didn't want to worry about leaving it in the Jeep while i was enjoying the show. there'll be another time...

this is the way a rock show should be, hot, sweaty, packed with attractive women, and loud...
