John Frusciante

Who here likes John Frusciante (Chili Peppers' guitarist and solo artist in his own right)?

I think he is a brilliant guitarist, and singer. He is so much better (vocally) then Kiedis. But I see why Kiedis if the lead singer of RHCP and not Frusciante, because Kiedis has a more funky sound.

Anyway, so I was just wondering who here is a Frusciante fan and who has heard his solo music, because I think his solo music is brilliant. I love "Carvel", great song.

If you are a Frusciante fan, you should watch this video, or if you don't know how great of a guitarist/singer he is, watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/wa...vG6bYcHrIM

John Frusciante is an absolute genius. First of all you've gotta give him credit for beating the drug addiction that nearly killed him when he was younger. He's turned himself into undoubtedly the most exciting rock guitarist out there, with the song-writing skills to match.

'Carvel' is a great track as is all the 'Shadows' album, especially 'Song to sing when your lonely' Sheer pop perfection.....

Would love to see him and Prince on stage together

WOW!!!!!

He's been my favorite artist for at least 4 years, especially since I bought Niandra LaDes and Usually Just A T-Shirt. I own all his solo albums and I hope the 2nd part of Ataxia will be released soon. I agree about Carvel, it's one of his best songs along with "The Afterglow" (my favorite), "Time runs out" and many others. I'd love him to do a dance/disco/electro-funk kind of album in the vein of "the afterglow", but i doubt there'll ever be a collaboration with Prince..
