Einstürzende Neubauten has launched a new official site at www.neubauten.org. It's still under development but you can listen Blixa speak his new agenda in his charming voice. A new album is in the making and it should be out next year, presumably sometimes around May.

I have seen them once , they played as a warm-up to U2 in Rotterdam,NL. Zooropa-tour i think. They didn't play all of their setlist becaused people started to throw all kind of things at them ,and boo-ed them of the stage. I however liked it. I won't buy their music but they are inventive. They use all kind of tools to make their music. Great noise.

That's funny. They really did that? Threw bottles and shit at the band?!? I always thought U2 concert goers were for the most parts people from pensionaries... well, they're the rudest, aren't they?

They really left stage. The throwing became so much ,they left. Those carton drinkcarry things can be hard and they throw good too.. I find it terrible when it comes to something like that. For some people at this mainstream audience , it must have looked as hell ,they really didn't dig this. The Einsturzende neubauten used aircompressors and electric saws to produce sound ,at one moment one guy stood on a platform ( or stairs?) and used iron cables to hit an iron plate down beneath him to create thundersounds.
I however and i know others can appreciate this. I don't know much about the neubauten but if you listen to some work of Aphex twin , you also think you're in a factory ,take his best of.. album ,of which i don't remember the name.
One time i saw at a living colour concert also in NL ,Utrecht this time .The stereo MC's being boo_ed and throwened at.They had to leave. The frontman had words with a part of the audience and finally a coin between his eyes/forhead made them leave.Unbelieveble but a highlight for me in my concertvisits. So are the Stereo MC's.
