From the previews, the production is over the top, bad acting and singing, and will be voted as one of the worst films of the year. If Andre wants to act do Boroadway, talk to Usher about it.

actually i got a HUGE UTCM vibe where during the previews DRE says "he'll shoot you" looked totally like GIRLS AND BOYS.....

i have seen the preview and i do think it looks prince-inspired, but that is not a surprise where outkast is concerned. i will not be surprised if it is utter drivel, to be honest.. the music should be cool, though.

i just love how everything here is either compared to purple rain, or graffitti bridge... i guess its the orgs meaning of "good" and "bad"

i'm guessing it's just another hustle for platinum artist these days, 'cuz despite the reviews i'm willing to bet most fans will spend cash to see this in some form, be it at the theater, bootlegged, rental, video on demand, or cable. i'm sure they'll make a nice profit in the end.
