This is a great cd.It has been a long while I have tracked it.Finally got for a surprisingly reasonable price,too.Well,the cd is like a "lost" Return To Forever album.Lenny White plays drums,Chick Corea on keys,and ,of course,Stan on various basses.It was Stanley's first solo record and is out of print.Even though,this is Stanley's show,Chick makes a huge imprint on this. He does play keys,he produced,and wrote one of the better tracks on here.It mainly sounds like one of the acoustic RTF albums, as opposed to a Stanley Clarke record as we later understood them.Any fan of jazz,I believe,would enjoy this.The vocals are great and ,of course,the playing is impeccable. It's a shame this is not available and it's a crime how much people sell copies for,but that's free enterprise.

Great pick, rock. Yeah, this album is killin'. I've had mine for years. I dig the shit out of Return to Forever, especially "Romantic Warrior". But yeah, this Stanley album is on the one. This is a must have, for sure.
