I remember watching a Where Are They Now special on VH1, and Billy Squier was featured on it, and he explained that he knew his career an street credibility took a huge dive after this video was played on MTV. Prior to that, he was having a huge career as a hard rocker and had a bunch of male and female fans. He said that it was the record company's idea to do this video in order to gain more female fans, but not only did this video backfire on getting female fans, but it drove many of his hardcore male fans away.

not the worst video i've seen, but it was sort of funny, but i wasn't exactly on the floor crying-laughing...i noticed that the wardrobe was on strictly on budget though...
