Not sure about the R&B position, but the Hot 100 is already better than her DJ singles, no? I guess it is a grower, but I'm bored with it (I get constant alerts for it when I have my Sirius on...Hot Jamz plays it a lot, followed up by Cosmo, a station for women that has talk and music, and then the Hits station).

BTW, I love the fact that "Crazy" is number two. It took a while for it too catch on, but it finally did. Love that song and the album as a whole.

Both are much better, as I Want You made #18 R&B and Just A Little While only managed #45 pop.

It might go Top 20, as airplay is still growing, but Top 10 probably not. Depends on what kind of effect the video has. This track was positioned to be Janet's It's Like That, as a reintroduction to radio, and it has worked.

Good call, I guess. A straight out of the box hit wouldn't work and the public needs to fall back in love slowly...But I still think she should have hit us over the head with a song like "All Nite" as the first single...SuperBoob would have been forgiven or possibly Janet would be set up as a marytar and praised by censorhip critics. That wasn't the case, though.

A song like All Nite never would have been played. Hell, All Nite wasn't played. That's just the way it is.

The second single will be premiered on August 17th, and it is uptempo....

whoknows

Great to see Gnarles Barkley doing so well in the States. That song is the only mainstream track I've liked this whole year. A great single. Everything else sucks.

It's nice to see bland ass R&B getting some competition.
