I bought a Latoya Jackson CD!

Yes, I have finally lost the plot. Today at lunch time I picked up what appears to be the re-release of her 1980 debut cd. Did any of you ever own this? Apparently there is a duet with Latoya and Jacko and another song features Stevie Wonder on harmonica and Ray Parker JR on Guitar. Also, I read that Bily ocean wrote another track. I haven't listened to it yet but with a line up like that I couldn't help myself.

I've never thought LaToya was quite as horrible an artist as people make her out to be. She's horrible, but not to the point where she didn't have a handful of decent songs.

If she had spruced up her thin-ass singing voice with a bit of character like Janet (if not taken vocal lessons), underwent an image change, and MAYBE gotten better producers/songwriters, she could have possibly made it big.

I just wanna know what happned to that album she was supposed to release? It was originally due out in 2003, but after Michael got arrested I wasn't surprised it went on the back burner. However, still no sign of it. Has she given up on a singing career? confuse

ok, so I heard the cd. It's not bad (but not great either). For the most part it's an uptempo disco/funk album. the jacko song is my favorite of course. her vocals arene't as bad as people would think. in fact her voice is just as strong (or weak) as Janet's! i would recommend getting this if you like the jacksons and if you like disco.

God wasn't very generous with the girls in the family, when it came to handing out talent. Whereas 11 yr old MJ blew people away effortlessly with his voice and moves, and Jermaine voice was pure soul, plus he knows how to play guitars, the girls had to get by on their looks, hard-work and/or just being plain notorious from the word go...

Is this the album that features the hit "Nighttime Lover"? That's the only song by her that I like.It was written and produced by Michael and he even sings background vocals.A very good song.

As long as you don't show her face close-up from the front yea. Otherwise she looks kind of old and stretched out. Her body is great tho.

Her nose looks strange and unnatural like Michael's and so do her cheeks and lips
She's had far too much plastic surgery like everyone in her family it seems
