I wouldn't say that I hate Madonna. She just doesn't appeal to me. I would'nt go out and buy any of her cd's. Especially her latest one which looks like a weak attempt to bring back 70's disco. Her movies all suck and she has NO acting ability. It's just my opinion. Madonna strikes me as someone who in the beginning wanted fame at no matter what cost. She slept with, Hustled and used anyone who could get her there. And she got it. She more then any celebrity out there knows how to keep herself in the limelight. And that's why at almost 50 she's still commands attention.

Wow, um, I didn't really get a chance to log on yesterday and I missed a lot...

I was at (my gay male best friend's) birthday party Friday night at a club and a group of us got into this very discussion because the club was showing "The Immaculate Collection" videos on the screens.

The group was split- unevenly. Most of us- male & female- dislike her, and have for a very long time. My best friend loves her. Those of us who don't just think that she has always been too "in your face" and a lot of times her 'sexuality' was forced on us, thus making it just plain annoying.

I would never ever EVER be jealous of Madonna. She's not someone I would want to emulate or share qualities with, so why would I waste time "wishing I was her"? No, some of us just don't think she's cool. period.

Now I call her "Queen Kaballah-Ho" because I know it annoys my friend. But he hates Prince, so what can ya do?

I also agree with the statement about her 4% body fat. I think she looks boyish, except for the fake tits. Yes she is thin, but she has no shape and her face and arms look awful. We always see her in full make-up and she looks great, but in reality she needs to gain a few lbs.
