The Manhattans - Crazy The Manhattans were without a doubt one of the premiere R&B vocal groups of all time. Over their 25-year chart history, they amassed 44 hits. Though they had some crossover success, they didn't fare quite as well on the pop chart; that's not uncommon for pure R&B recording artists (just ask Maze).
Everybody remembers Kiss and Say Goodbye, Shining Star and There's No Me Without You. Another of my favorites that doesn't necessarily come to mind for casual fans is Crazy. I love this one! Soul ballads from this era are among the best in my opinion. Lots of funk influence. http://www.youtube.com/wa...9I_8O9HVVc | |
