I saw Jonny Lang last night in Des Moines, IA. It was an incredible show. This guys got the blues/soul/rock thing down pat. My favorite song was Red Light, which was written by Anthony Hamilton, and Jonny performed it just how I'd imagine Anthony would. It was much better than the studio version. His guitar work is incredible.

His new album is out in September and the new songs he played sounded great. Especially "Thankful" which had an Al Green vibe to it. If any of you are ever fed up with these young pop stars and feel there are no young talents, go see this guy. Truly remarkable!

he's coming here as well. i've never really been a fan per say, but i think he's very good and enjoyed the songs i've heard by him. he started out pretty young too. good to see he's still kickin' ass. i'm glad you enjoyed the show.
