Went to see MeShell last night. She did a very short set (couldn't have been longer than 1:10 ) but it was great - you know MeShell, she truly never misses She better not have after being about 1:45 late getting to the stage

Of course I don't do all that setlist stuff but I do remember she sang Free My Heart among other songs I knew. MeShell always seems to debut what's coming out next - she did 4 or 5 songs I'd never heard before & they sounded GREAT Can't wait for her next album.

Try to catch her when she comes your way, she's amazing live

i'm glad you had fun! i've been told she puts on a great show. but 1hr 10 mins??? wow. maybe she was had a bad day.

That is good room to see her in. I didn't know she was in town.

I noticed she is playing the San Francisco Jazz Festival this year. Her show in on Oct. 22 at the Regency Center Grand Ballroom.

And yes, the Independent is a great venue b/c it's so tiny. Not a bad seat in the house
