GEORGE DUKE - Live In Japan ( 1983 )

Featuring a TOP-NOTCH band :

- George Duke - Keyboards, Vocals
- Lynn Davis - Vocals
- Marcy Levy - Vocals
- Louis "Thunderthumbs" Johnson - Electric Bass
- Paul M. "Bumblebee" Jackson - Electric Guitar
- Robert "Afterbach" Brookins - Synthesizers, Vocals
- Steve "AWB" Ferrone - Drums

I Want You For Myself
This track comes from the album Master Of The Game featuring the mighty George Duke Band ( Sheila E / Lynn Davis / Josie James / Napoleon Murphy Brock / Byron Miller / Ricky Lawson / Charles "Icarus" Johnson ) .
The opening-track ( Look What You Find ) of M.O.T.G. has one of the best intro's i know and the track keeps going skyhigh , followed by a sphereful midtempo-ish Every Little Step I Take . Later another fonktronk called Games hips the game along with some more dangerous jams . The particular track here hitted big time in the UK . The rare maxi-single often wents for big bucks on Ebay .

N-Joy !

Speaking of George Duke, have you seen any of these albums...

...available in your neck of the woods? (preferably on CD)
