lol as if Rockwell had people mob his car.... clever clever quotation - attention getting quote - sad yet witty remark - look at me! Im deep quote- song lyric about my ex cause that bitch stole my mp3 player! - line from movie I liked - Prince lyric - not very clever sig mocking other sigs

it also seems that,in this video, his voice isn't properly "synced" with the footage.

And have you noticed (and its an 80's thing im sure) that he and a few other artists use like a Brit accent? Rockwell reminds of one of the acts that evil music producer in Last Dragon would have signed... clever clever quotation - attention getting quote - sad yet witty remark - look at me! I remember that song well. It was decent. The single that followed on another album the next year, "He's A Cobra", was NOT all that. Andy is a four letter word.

oh God,I hated that song "He's A Cobra" really, really awful song.Rockwell was trying to do pop/New Wave....very few of his songs are actually R&B.

I saw the 45 in the store when it first came and bought it without even hearing it first. When I got it home it was horrible. It's waaayyyy down somewhere in the bottom of one of my stacks these days. It would take me forever to find it. Andy is a four letter word.

Still dig obscene phone caller. Can't listen to somebody's watching me. It is painfully obvious how he got a record deal.We used to dance obscene phone caller my senior year in high school. He looks like marlon jackson's twin. Now talk about some funny shit. What if somebody dug up the jackson's video for body that marlon sung lead on or the two videos he had from his solo album don't go and baby tonight. [Edited 6/30/06 9:08am] Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

[Edited 6/30/06 9:08am] That's ironic that he should look like Marlon Jackson twin, considering Marlon Jackson was born with an identical twin brother, who only lived for a few hours.

Is it just me or does this song sound a lot like Luther's "Stop To Love" from 1986? Maybe the same producer? OK..SOMEONE out there has to know whatever happened to this guy..David Eye, you're my musical muse when it comes to knowledge. Do you know whatever happened to him?

I like those two singles ("Somebody's Watching Me" and "Obscene Phone Caller"),but let's be honest,he wasn't very talented. If his father wasn't Berry Gordy, would he have gotten a record deal? Would Michael Jackson (the biggest artist at that time) have sung on his debut single? Let's be real now Something else...he just talks his way through those songs. The best parts of those songs are the chorus/hook which he doesn't even sing.Notice that he never had another hit after that first album. The reason? He tried to actually "sing" on his latter singles, lol. . [Edited 7/3/06 11:39am]
