I hate Paris, but this song, soulless and empty as it is, is still better than most of what I'm hearing on the hit stations these days.

Not that it's good, it's just better.

It's a rip off of a UB40 song called ""Kingston Town". I'm not suprised that there isn't a law suit yet....(lyrics are different but the sound is the same).

I listened to the song out of curiousity. It wasn't quite as horrible as I thought it would be but sounds like too many other songs including, The Tide is High and the UB40 one and Gwen and some other songs. But when I saw the video--saw her prancing around all lifeless and souless and uninspired and blank just the way she does at photo shoots, interviews, the red carpet at every friggin' party it confirmed that she and her song are crap.

I don't understand why anyone would give her music, videos or acting the time of day. There are just too many great singers and artists out there that have so much real talent. Paris is just a media whore with no real talent of any kind.

I like the name Heiress Records. I have a feeling they'll sign decent acts.
So if this is all a campaign to get attention for the label...good for her.
Either way, I like the song.
