return to forever dvd

Yesterday I got a dvd of RTF live .They played in Germany and there is also a show from Chicago that also featured Herbie Hancock's band circa '74. The dvd isn't perfect by today's standards ,but it is awesome.The music is simply incredible and it's really cool to see that mythologized band actually play together.The first shows the band before Al DiMeola and the second features him in the band. This is further proof why they were and are loved and why people want them back. I really recommend this dvd. If I had been a kid then listening to this type of stuff ,RTF would have been my Prince and my Jimi. They belong up there with the greats of rock and it kills that the individual members belong up there with the greats of jazz.Get thisNow,if I can only get a copy of RTF's live cd!!

Sorry I didn't post the title.It is Musikladen 1974. Also,you gotta chedck out the cd's Hymn of the Seventh Galaxy,No Mystery,and Where Have I known You Before.Incredible stuff!!This group is now one of my all-timers.I only had the greatest hits before. I was truly missing some great music. I alo found a reasonably priced copy of the live cd that is an uncut japanese import!!I am sooo excited!!Then,I will get the cd titled Return To Forever,try to find a reasonably priced copy of Stanley's Rocks,Pebbles,and Stones and Children of Forever and then,take a nice break from hunting.I should be statiated for a good while.

I was only ten years old in the late 70's but my brother was into these guys and it definatley made an impression on me. It led me to Miles, Jaco and eventually to Charllie Parker etc.

Guys,once again,I am leaving info out.I'm sorry.I think the only place to get this is on ebay.I paid about $12. It took 2 days to arrive. It is called Musikladen 1974 and I guess,subtitled Sometimeago.I have watched it a little everyday since I received it.
