Stupid Lollapalooza Schedule! They put Gnarls Barkley and Sonic Youth on two different stages AT THE SAME TIME!!!!
Now I have to choose which to see. Sonic Youth is a longtime favorite and Thurston & Lee's guitar playing always blows me away...AND I'm starting to get a little weary of Gnarls, to be honest....though I hear the boys put on a really fun show, and it's always fun to be part of a zeitgeist that doesn't TOTALLY suck. Decisions. [Edited 6/23/06 16:27pm]

I say take a chance and go for the geisto. yeah, but i've only seen SY once. also, from that experience, i learned that thurston moore comes closest to prince in terms of pants-creaming guitar god action. plus i want to see what designer kim is rockin' - she's got to be the only rock bassist who appears in concert wearing a chanel skirt and a smart blouse.

See, this the problem with this whole society, culturally. We see music as a racial thing, it isn't. Both bands have the same fans, as I agree with Anxiety, who is usually wrong, so I am surprised to see such a tongue kiss of truth come from his beautiful lips--usually chapped and unkept. lol All you others say Hell Yea!!
