THE MOMENT HAS ARRIVED

Absolute confirmation of what is arguably the most anticipated tour announcement in Australian concert history.

The Frontier Touring Company’s Managing Director Michael Gudinski, today announced to Australia – and the world – that pop’s premier princess Kylie Minogue is back and will be resuming her postponed Australian concert dates in November this year with the Showgirl Homecoming Tour.

On May 17, 2005, just two days prior to the first show of her massive sell out Australian Showgirl Tour, Michael Gudinski broke the news that Kylie had been diagnosed with breast cancer and consequently had to postpone her Australian tour dates.

Twelve months on, after extensive treatment, Kylie is ready to entertain her Australian fans as promised, with the full Showgirl concert. Kylie has used her time out of the spotlight to update her original Showgirl tour for her loyal Australian fans with the new tour aptly named the Showgirl Homecoming Tour.

There is little doubt that Kylie’s return to the stage will be an emotional time for both Kylie and her legions of fans. In exciting news, Channel Nine Australia will air an exclusive interview with Kylie on Monday 17 July at 8:30pm where Kylie will discuss the pain and struggle of the past year, her hopes for the future and much, much more.

Patrons holding tickets to Showgirl who are unable to attend the rescheduled dates are asked to seek a full refund prior to close of business Friday 14 July (refer to grid below for contact point).

A small number of tickets will be put on general sale on Wednesday 19 July. They’re not expected to last for long as there are no plans for additional shows at this stage. People wishing to purchase tickets to see Kylie will need to be on the ball at 9am!

All concert tickets currently held by patrons are now valid for the corresponding date as listed below, i.e. if some one purchased tickets to Tuesday 31 May at the Sydney Entertainment Centre, their new show date is Saturday 11 November at the same venue.

Ticket holders are NOT required to exchange their tickets; they will be able to present their existing ticket on the night and will receive exactly the same placement within the venue as previously secured.
