I was surprised by how much I liked it. It's pretty pop, but I dig her voice. She does border a little too close to Dido at times, but I'd give the album a good 3.5 stars. Surprisingly good.  i know she is compared to dido sometimes, but her lyrics are cheekier (and occasionally rude), the beats are far more interesting and some of the melodies are beautiful.
By the way, i'm in the UK, but the CD i picked up was one of those fucking annoying copy protected ones that make you hate the artist and the record company and want to kill everyone in your family.  [Edited 6/22/06 2:35am] | |
