Saw PFunk for the first time in concert in 78 at The Forum with my older cousin and his friends. Scared to death cuz it was wild as hell! Folks smokin' blunts and runnin' up and down all over the place. Standing in their seats. Hollering and singing like they were in church. But it was HELLA cool. I LOVED it! Agreed! I saw the P-Funk in 1977 P-Funk Earth Tour (playing huge outdoor stadiums)this was with the OG Mothership lineup Fred Wesley, Maceo Parker, Glenn Goines, Fuzzy etc. It was crazy all the cursing , joint smoking, spaceship coming down, wild costumes etc... Totally ruined me and set me up for Prince later down the road for the new wave of Funk he brought. Singing about head, pussy, incest etc. | |

Can anyone comment on this DVD? Does anyone know it? 
Running time 83 min, I think it's from the "Mothership Connection Tour" (at least that's what it says on the back? I could get this for 4.99 Euro (around 6 Euro). I suppose it's worth it?  | |
