Shit, it's like milk without the cornflake! They must be out of their mind. Those where good songs, but people won't be willing to put up with that.

I think it's funny. The only way this would be successful is if they do a reality show. It's the kind of insane thing that reality tv loves.
I guess the others want to prove something to the world and maybe to themselves. If you've told your whole life that you basically are worthless and that you have no role in the success of your own band, you probably have a big complex.

Maybe they know his voice isn't what it used to be, and that's why they are getting a new singer. No one escapes the age train, except Madonna; she looks younger than ever. I donn't know how she does it. You know he's one of the reasons we are used to drag queens. Christian Zombie Vampires

If he sounds anything like he did in the 80s, i would definitely pay to see him on stage with the Culture Club

Yeah, Pete Burns is a mess, i`ve seen a few clips from big brother I don`t think he was ever especially talented, but at least he looked like a human being before.

1) Get Helen Terry, who augmented Boy George on their classic material, to sing for them. She had a great soulful voice. 2) GET GEORGE MICHAEL!!!! Since he missed his chance with Queen, he could stop "doing the Nick Nolte" & start singin' again!!!!! No one needs to read about him asleep at the wheel with date rape drugs in his system alone in the car any f**king more!!!!! :lol I love the Helen Terry idea better!!

This will never work. Some bands can get away with using a new lead singer, but I don't think Culture Club can do it.
Then again,The Cars are currently touring without Ric Ocasek. They recruited Todd Rundgren to be their lead singer (!) and it seems to be working out okay,so who knows? Still,I can't imagine Culture Club with Boy George.

You`re right, even if they had gotten him on the tour, i don`t think it would have been a success, his voice is nothing like it used to be. I think i`ll settle with the newly released concert dvd, "Live in Sydney" saw that in virgin yesterday... i shoulda picked it up. like 9 bucks too Power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely. - Lord Acton

I saw the Cars/Blondie show. And believe it or not, the Cars with Todd Rundgren was much better that Debbie Harry, the original singer with Blondie. The Cars and Todd were really into what they were doing and seemed to love the songs and being on stage. Debbie Harry and Blondie meanwhile acted like they could care less and were just going through the motions. So it all depends on what the attitude of the band is. Are they doing it because this is their dream and what they really want to do or are they doing it just because they can't think of anything better to do and only care about the money. I'm willing to give them a chance. Just because the other members of Culture Club aren't famous doesn't mean they don't have anything to offer musically.
