Culture Club to Reform without Boy George

How can they do that? That's crazy.
It seems like this will flop but who knows. The world is sure crazy today.

NOBODY escapes the age train. Damn lol

I doubt you will find a replacement with a signature voice like boys. His voice is absolutely amazing. I think the revelation of this band ala "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me" was just genius. In the dawning of the video age all of America was abuzz as to whether that is a girl or a boy, and he had the voice to confuse people on the issue worship

You`re right, even if they had gotten him on the tour, i don`t think it would have been a success, his voice is nothing like it used to be.

I think i`ll settle with the newly released concert dvd, "Live in Sydney"

Yeah, his voice was beautiful, and he knew just how to use it (black money)
He was/is also a great songwriter, i don`t know if many people were aware of that, all they probably saw was the image...

If Boy George started today, he wouldn't have kicked up such a fuss because we are used to drag queens and people of indeterminate sex, but in 1983 it was shocking.
Maybe they know his voice isn't what it used to be, and that's why they are getting a new singer.
No one escapes the age train, except Madonna; she looks younger than ever. I donn't know how she does it.

The way I see it, they got TWO options:
1) Get Helen Terry, who augmented Boy George on their classic material, to sing for them. She had a great soulful voice.

2) GET GEORGE MICHAEL!!!! Since he missed his chance with Queen, he could stop "doing the Nick Nolte" & start singin' again!!!!! No one needs to read about him asleep at the wheel with date rape drugs in his system alone in the car any f**king more!!!!!

lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol :lol

Boy George didn't kick up a fuss because of the gender bending. Anyone who was around during that time remembers that he was routinely assumed to be a woman prior to the band becoming successful. Culture Club kicked up a fuss because they released one of the 80's best pop tunes in 'Do You Really Want To Hurt Me'.

Saw that movie. Did not do too bad of a job lol

But really I would prefer if Boy George was doing the vocals. It's that haunting voice nod

He's always reminded me, vocally, of Smokey Robinson. Wonderfully soulful, lilting voice.
