First off, Sorry for using this site to anyone who hates the Chili Peppers. When ever I post I try to keep it to Prince related topics. But I feel there is a small conection. That conection being the Funk/George Clinton.

Now the Peppers are doing a Canadian tour that stops in every city but Halifax.

Please help me by signing my petition. I just started it so I need all the help I can get. Once again I'm really sorry to anyone who hates non-related Prince posts posts. Please don't hate me.

Should the Red Hot Chili Peppers play Halifax?

Yes, yes they should. I'm tired of being left out of so called "Canadian tours".

My Name is CZR. (Caesar) I've been a Peppers fan since 84 when one day a saw 4 crazy looking dudes on the tube acting all crazy like. he,he.
Who, introduced themselves by saying:
"I'm the singer, I go ahhhhhow"
"I'm the bass player, I go bap, bap, bap..."
"I'm the drummer, I go tapity, tap, tap...."
"I'm the guitar player, I go wowooooo...."
Screaming & jumping around with enough energy to crush mountains. That was it. I had to find out who these guys were & what there music was like.I had no idea that they would crush musical barriers, as big as mountains, by mixing all the great sounds that I heard in my stepfathers record collection.

Now years later I've managed to see them twice. Once in '96 & once in '99. I feel very fortunate to have seen them. Most people never get to see their favorite. artist or artists even once. Now us maritime-rs are always left out & this latest tour is no exception. Why????? With last years Pearl Jam show & the Rolling Stones playing Moncton It looked like things were about to change for us. So you can imagine the shock I got when last month the Peppers announced their Canadian dates.

It's time to speak up! Let's let them know we're here wanting to be blessed with the funky vibes of the Red Hot Chili Peppers!

One show. That's all. One stripped down show. We don't need to see fancy lights& or flaming fire. We just need the music, right? Right! All they have to do is bring their instruments. Damn I can lend them some speakers if I have to. So to Quote George Clinton, "We need the Funk, got to have the Funk!"
