But of this movie: [Edited 6/14/06 8:42am] Actually, according to the usual DrownedMadonna, Jump won't be on The devil wears Prada soundtrack. This is from the website: JUMP Not On Devil's Soundtrack Despite gossip spread in Madonnas community, it seems that JUMP is not included in the soundtrack for the movie and will NOT be released on the soundtrack cd. That is what Madonnanation member Miguel/Humble has been told by Keith Caulfield at Billboard.com Hi Miguel, "Jump" is not on the "Prada" soundtrack, which will be released in July. "Get Together" is the official, real, legitimate, third world wide single from "Confessions." We may assume that "Jump" could be a single release in the future. This is the tracklisting for the soundtrack: Track Listings 1. Vogue - Madonna 2. Bittersweet Faith - BitterSweet 3. City of Blinding Lights - U2 4. Seven Days in Sunny June - Jamiroquai 5. Crazy - Alanis Morissette 6. Beautiful - Moby 7. How Come - Ray LaMontagne 8. Sleep - Azure Ray 9. Feelin Hypnotized [Black Liquid Remix] [Mix] - DJ Colette 10. Tres Tres Chic - Mocean Worker 11. Here I Am [Kaskade Radio Remix] [Mix] - Keenan, Tamra, David Morales 12. Suite from the Devil Wears Prada - Theodore Shapiro Special thanks to Miguel for informing Madonna's community. Videos promote singles. Obviously Madonna doesn't need to be groundbreaking through her videos anymore. What more can she contribute to the video era? Take a look at the shit that's in heavy rotation on MTV and the requests for TRL. Madonna's videos still stand out as originals. It would be dumb of her to quit videos altogether because of the continued impact they have on promotion for an album. Express Yourself, Open your Heart, Rain etc etc... will not be any less of an impact despite lackluster videos she makes today.

it's just sad to see her fuck around and half it with videos when she was once the premier video artist. it's like hearing Beethoven play the itsy bitsy spider. I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

That one was definitely halfing it...designed to be half-paid attention to in the background while shopping at the mall.

Express Yourself, Open your Heart, Rain etc etc... will not be any less of an impact despite lackluster videos she makes today. There's no way that Madonna can ever be "groundbreaking" in a music video ever again.I mean, she has already danced in front of burning crosses....made love to a Black Jesus in a church....grabbed her crotch repeatedly in "Express Yourself"....kissed another woman while her man watches ("Justify My Love")....threw a hand grenade into an audience that includes a George W.Bush lookalike....etc,etc,etc.She's already done some of the most provocative, controversial, visually stunning videos of all time. Her recent videos aren't the best she's ever done, but she shouldn't stop making videos. They do promote her singles. The "Hung Up" video,in particular, did wonders for the single and album.

Sure there is. She doesn't have to push the controversial bar, but to be cutting edge with video tech and/or to simply continue making works of art. Good art can always be groundbreaking. Why do you like playing around with my narrow scope of reality? - Stupify

That's what's so frustrating...that was a GREAT madonna video! You could tell she put a lot of work and time and thought into it...and then...second and third single...she could give a fuck. That's why I'm saying, better to just do one video per album from here on out. "Sorry" was so thrown together and amateurish--though I partly blame the fact that she let her tour choreographer direct it. I mean, his moves are OK (though still a little cheesy and outdated), but I think his main talents are in staging a show, not making a mini movie for a song. And "Get Toghether" is a cool concept and I actually don't mind it, but it's nothing innovative or special...oh well some of y'alls want Madonna even in mediocre form apparently. I expect nothing less than ball breaking ground breaking in your face entertainment and art from her. I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

That's what's so frustrating...that was a GREAT madonna video!... I agree. Sorry is sorry. This is better, but only because of the song and second half. It's not great, though. This has quite a bit of cheese in it too. Why do you like playing around with my narrow scope of reality? - Stupify
