i liked robbie nevil for like five minutes when that album was first out...i liked that song and "domino", or whatever it was called...both of the songs basically sounded alike. | |

I like it now..
At the time, I wished Robbie Dead. I was young and there was this "battle of the songs" thingy on the radio. If the song won 3 nights in row, it "got played". Not sure WHY they would pit a known artist like Eurythmics against a Debut artist like Robbie. But it was the 3rd night Thorn in My side was in the Battle...and C'est la vie won. Thorn was never heard again. I was terribly upset and thought it was that song that brought them to their demise on radio. Christian Zombie Vampires | |

I enjoyed his first two albums when they came out. Then again, I was only like 11 years old at the time, but they were cool back then. I remember it getting alot of airplay on VH-1 back when they first launched and were all Adult Contemporary. | |
