Randy Jackson "are u kidding me"

This past week or two has been filled with moronic statements, and here comes Randy Jackson dropping in with two others. Now im not a Randy Jackson fan, mainly because he's a judge on a panel about singers with Paula Abdul, but i thought maybe he had some intelligence. But when i heard his interview on Larry King, i lost any hope i had for him, he was on with the winner of "idol" that hicks guy, and that runner up girl Katharine Mcphee or something like that. And he was talking about how they should go about their lives and stuff and make their own path, and i thought Wow, Randy u are giving some good advice, but then he said it, he talked about this Katharine girl singing "over the Rainbow" and said it was the only way it should be sung, the way she did it. WTF!! Now i heard a piece of it, and it was nothing special, i wonder how Patti Labelle would feel about that statement, or Judy Garland or Even Sam friggin Harris. Not enough he said that but he put that Taylor Hicks guy in the Ray Charles class, WHAT!!! Why are we giving such props like this?? I saw about a minute of this guy and he reminds me of Adam Sandler in the Wedding Singer, hes very loungey and almost like an impersonator at best. And of course Randy had to add "America" voted for them, yeah Randy thats true BUT should we really let America vote for anything anymore, I mean 60% of them picked George Bush twice.

Well...lets be honest here, i dont like George Bush and didnt vote for him either time, but Gore lost, mainly because he was lame, the same thing goes for Kerry, they both were trying to be just like Bush to win, instead of being themselves, to bad Gore isnt running now, since he is finally speaking his mind. But thats a whole other debate.

Judy Garland sings that song better than anyone! Ever!!

Patti yells too much and the Idol chick was just so-so IMO.

Randy's doing his job as a spokesperson for the show, so of course he's going to laud the contestants. Big deal. shrug And for the record, I never cared for Patti's version of Over the Rainbow. Judy's is the best, but Katharine did a very good rendition of it.

Well, let's be accurate here. Gore is lame and boring, but he won the popular vote (as has been corroborated by a number of newspapers' recounts).

The Supreme Court's decision gave the presidency to George W. Bush.

Oh, and my money's on Patti's version.

True Sam's version was on point, seemed to me he took a bit of Patti's vers. and added his on spin to it.

Until 2 weeks ago, I would've agreed that Judy G did the best version of "Over the Rainbow." But then I heard a version by Austin Cromer, backed by Dizzy Gillespie's band. IMO, this guy destroys everyoner else.
