more CURE goodies next year! JAPANESE WHISPERS AND...
5/30/2006 6:16:24 PM - by CURE:ROBERT STUFF JAPANESE WHISPERS IS DELETED AS THERE SEEMED LITTLE POINT IN REMASTERING AN ALBUM THAT WASNT REALLY AN ALBUM ANYWAY AND (AS HAS ALREADY BEEN POINTED OUT) ALL THE JW SONGS ARE AVAILABLE AS REMASTERS ON THE GREATEST HITS AND JOIN THE DOTS AND 'OTHER' KMKMKM SONGS... THIS WAS A DIFFICULT EXTRAS CD TO COMPILE AS THERE WERE REALLY TWO... ONE WITH 18 UNRELEASED AND B-SIDE INSTRUMENTAL DEMOS AND THE DEMOS/OUT-TAKES/LIVE ONE THAT IS TO BE RELEASED ON BALANCE I (AND THOSE I PLAYED BOTH TO) FELT THAT THE DEMOS/OUT-TAKES/LIVE ONE WAS JUST MORE INTERESTING AS AN EXTRA WITH THE KMKMKM ALBUM... MAYBE THE OTHER ONE WILL LEAK OUT SOMETIME... ANYWAY... THESE NEXT REMASTERS REALLY DO SOUND FAB... PARTICULARLY THE TOP! RSX AND (AS HAS ALSO ALREADY BEEN POINTED OUT) NOW ALL THE CURIOSITY TRACKS WILL BE AVAILABLE AND THERE WILL BE AN 'ALL THE SINGLES' COLLECTION NEXT YEAR - WITH STARING AT THE SEA TYPE LINKS INBETWEEN AND THERE WILL BE A LIVE DVD BOXSET WITH ORANGE AND SHOW AND JAPAN(?) AND AND OTHER SURPRISE STUFF AND A PRAYER TOUR SHOW? HMMMM... IF I CAN FIND THE FOOTAGE! ONWARDS... **** I like the idea of the "All Singles" collection. Would it fit on 2 discs? 1. Killing an Arab 2. 10:15 Saturday Night (technically not a single, but....) 3. Boys Don't Cry 4. Jumping Someone Else's Train 5. A Forest 6. Play for Today 7. Primary 8. Charlotte Sometimes 9. The Hanging Garden 10. Let's Go To Bed 11. The Walk 12. The Lovecats 13. The Caterpillar 14. In Between Days 15. Close to Me 16. A Night Like This 17. Why Can't I Be You? 18. Just Like Heaven 19. Catch 20. Hot Hot Hot!!! 1. Fascination Street 2. Lovesong 3. Lullaby 4. Pictures of You 5. Never Enough 6. High 7. Friday I'm in Love 8. Letter to Elise 9. The 13th 10. Mint Car 11. Strange Attraction 12. Gone 13. Wrong Number 14. Out of this World 15. Maybe Someday 16. Cut Here 17. Just Say Yes 18. End of the World 19. alt.end 20. Taking Off I don't think that would all fit..... Plus, I feel like I'm forgetting something....

There are lots of promos and obscure singles limited to a few countries. Stuff like... Grinding Halt M Doubt 100 Years The Upstairs Room Lament Birdmad Girl Shake Dog Shake The Blood How Beautiful You Are The Last Day Of Summer and so on. "Other Voices" was on Staring at the Sea too, so I'm guessing they'll include that.

I can't wait. Show on DVD!! (Japan too, is great but I always found Orange to be very very BORING...) ... I really hope we get Play Out on dvd too!
I really can't say i'm in a hurry to hear more instrumental demos (re: what the 2nd kmkmkm disc almost was.) If they are like the bloodflowers demos, then maybe. But no more home casio demos, please! The way he phrased the whole thing about the All Singles collection sounds more like it's going to be DVD. "With staring at the sea type links between the songs" or whatever he said. I tell all of you now: If the next cure dvd video collection does NOT include the long version of POY ... I won't be held responsible for my actions. We got fucked out of it on Picture Show (oh but they gave us the 12" vid for WCIBY??? Assholes.) Regardless, this is a really exciting time to be a cure fan. Keep your headphones on.

GangstaFam said: Yeah, I know, Sacrilige. Maybe it's Robert's short hair, the fact that the entire film is practically a freeze frame, or the fact that the performances lack much energy, but any way you slice it, it's a boring ass film. Keep your headphones on.

Yeah, what's up with that? I think it looks really cool, but I have no idea how they did that.

It is very cool to hear "Relax" by the Glove at the beginning of In Orange tho! Keep your headphones on.

That'd be nice. I love "Join The Dots", but they seem deserving of a proper box set of hits/fan favorites as well.
