Listening to this cd last night, reminded me how a

great album this was....

Rock On is my favorite Raydio album

'Places' came in at a close second...

'Its Time to Party Now' is thee jam!!!

Bootsy's bass is over that groove...

Still, Ray Parker was a great talent..

Ray also got deep with songs like "Old Pro".

"Mismaloya Beach" on his new Smooth Jazz CD has very tasteful guitar licks.

As you know that's Ray playing the riff on "You've Got The Love". by Rufus.

His solo on "Maybe Your Baby" from Stevie Wonder's Talking Book is a favorite of mine.

I liked his mainstream stuff with Raydio too.

'Two Places At The Same Time' is my favorite Ray Parker Jr. and Raydio album. There's a great slow jam "Tonight's The Night" and a truly funky instrumental jam "For Those Who Like To Groove",not to mention the midtempo title track. It's their strongest, most consistent album.
