I've always thought that Boy George was an excellent vocalist...just listen to him live and you will see the range that he has (that is when he is sober)... I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I love the Crying Game, Victims and This is the Way.
George used to have a great range;unfortunately I think that's in the past. I've heard recordings of his recent concerts and he has hardly any range at all. Drugs, alcohol and smoking seemingly have destroyed his once gorgeous voice. [Edited 5/30/06 12:30pm]

He has an amazing voice Was listening to "Do you really want to hurt me" last night and just basking in that voice and cracking up remembering when he first came on the scene and everyone being totally freaked out cuz they couldn't figure out if it was a boy or a girl. Way to kick off the eighties!!! 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

There's a CC box set? I had no idea. Where is victims from? I don't know if I've ever heard it. 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

Yeah, there`s a box set, with plenty of solo songs by George, some CC demos and a few other rareties, not really worth getting. There`s also a remix cd, which is just crap! If you have their studioalbums or a compilation, you don`t need this box set. The remake of victims is called "Victims 2002", you can hear a short clip of it on artistdirect.com

But I didn't like that they put George solo songs on there (most of which had been released before on his solo albums) when the box set is called "Culture Club". The Victims 2002 is the worst thing I've ever heard. It was recorded by George and his solo collaborator, so the other members of CC had nothing to do with it. Good for them. I read an interview with one of the other members of CC, and he was not happy with the box set. He said George stuck all his solo stuff on there without telling the other members of the band.
