Damn, i still cant spell months But I should mention.. I heard "Crazy" only a couple times in April... it wasn't getting the triple-A rotation here as it was in the UK. So, really it's my favorite track this month. You're probably tired of it by now.

Its ok. It got played on BBC radio 2 (so my dad says), which rarely, if ever, plays rap or rnb.

[Edited 5/25/06 16:09pm] Ya know, I've really been digging into Robbie's back catalogue this past month and I'm enjoying a lot of his material pre-Escapology. So far, Swing When You're Winning has a lot of goodies on it. Do you happen to know what year "There She Goes" was performed? I have a live version of it @ one of his early concerts (between the time of "Millennium" & "Rock DJ", but I just can't tag the year).

Now that's saying something. The buzz[/overhype] of this song is Amazing. It's a cool song 'n' all, but dammm.

Even though I really can't stand country, 'Not Ready To Make Nice' by the Dixie Chicks is really rocking my world at the moment. Might be the Rick Rubin connection, might be the song's backstory, or it just might be the fact that it's a good song. I'm the first mammal to wear pants.

I'm listening to my old favourites quite a lot again. Stuff I was really into years ago.
The Cure Funkadelic Covenant But mostly I've been trying to get away from listening to music so neurotically, and trying to enjoy the silent moments.

Prompted by a thread that was floating around here, I signed onto the ‘LastFM’ site a few weeks back. Among other things, this program keeps a log of all songs you’ve played through your WMP or whatever player you utilize. Here’s what I’ve listened to since May 14. The last number on each line is the number of songs played – pretty obvious that I’ve been on a bit of a fall kick lately.
Top Artists – Overall Generated: Sunday May 28 1 The Fall 363 2 Neko Case 46 3 Current 93 39 4 BR5-49 32 5 Chappaquiddick Skyline 23 6 Wire 21 7 The Undertones 19 8 The Blasters 18 8 The dB's 18 10 Everything but the Girl 17 11 Mojave 3 16 12 Prong 15 12 Gene Clark 15 14 COIL 14 15 Elf Power 11 16 Brian Eno 10 16 Luna 10 16 Bonnie 'Prince' Billy 10 16 That Petrol Emotion 10 20 Nurse With Wound 9 20 The Delgados 9 22 Mike Park 8 23 Scud Mountain Boys 6 24 The Walker Brothers 5 24 The Handsome Family 5 26 The Ladybug Transistor 4 26 000 B.C. 50 4 28 The Magic Numbers 3 30 Ivy 2 30 Uncle Tupelo 2 30 Shudder to Think 2 33 Hüsker Dü 1 33 Old 97's 1 33 Palace Brothers 1 33 Will Oldham 1 33 Gene MacLellan 1 33 Seán Ó'Néill; That Petrol Emotion 1 33 Martin Bramah; Smith 1 [Edited 5/28/06 5:53am]
