It will be. If not, it will be everything else.
its not Maxim. The bikini cover is good for US only because she lost the weight. Everyone loves a success story. Why do you like playing around with my narrow scope of reality? - Stupify

Janet's weight has always fluctuated, and when she has most of her time to devote to working out, not to mention the personal trainers, nutritionists, and chefs she has working for her, it's not surprising that she can get back in to shape before promoting an album. Image is a big part of her job as an entertainer. Besides, every five years it's the same thing, like "Wow! How did she lose that weight!". george clooney and christian bale both did it during that timeperiod....and nobody batted (no pun intended) an eye... is it because janet is a woman? Unlike Janet, George Clooney and Christian Bales bodies are not a major part of the package. Janet, since '93 has used her body to sell. I'm not saying it's the only thing that made her famous but people have come to expect that now - A new record drops along with half naked photos of herself. So, with that said, her weight gain and extreme rapid loss is always going to get attention.

How can someone go from being really overweight too that in just some months?? I doubt there was much airbrushing, if any. How did she lose that weight!". 1: There's always some airbrushing BUT I do believe that is how her actual body looks - I don't think they did any contouring. 2: Janet has MONEY... she has TIME... she has a TRAINER & a NUTRITIONIST... the weight is all she's had to think about for months - it's completely possible when you have all those things going for you... Plus she dances like a maniac on stage & has bouts of being ripped - she's got endurance & can probably do longer, more productive workouts

I dont understand your interpretation. They did it for a movie role and Janet also gained weight for a movie role and lost weight for an upcoming album. Where do you see emotional/vulnerability in her story? To me its just business as usual in the entertainment world.

She said she gained the weight for a role and its obvious she lost the weight for the upcoming CD. She even admits the personal chefs, trainer, all the time to exercise, etc. I personally can't relate to that. [Edited 5/24/06 16:48pm]

I haven't seen her heavy since her head was bobbin' up and down on a stick in the Escapade video. Has she been heavy since then (before a few months ago), and I'm just not paying attention?

This is actually the second time she mentioned that she has good genes. ( I believe the first was in an Essence article where she was questioned about her thing waste). She admits seeking comfort in food (I'm almost sure it was the Larry King interview during the All For You tour), but in ways that we all do. So I don't know where this poor little rich girl struggle with weight saga comes from.

Well, sure, I believe that! LOL, she's been up and down in weight several times, does she think we haven't noticed or simply forgot?! At any rate, good to see she's not overweight like in some of those pics we saw a few months ago, wish she could just get to and maintain a healthy weight. JMHO!
