There's a Riot Goin' On inside my head and through my speakers. I've been suffering a stinking cold this week, while at the same time truly discovering this legendary Sly and The Family album. 'Riot' was undoubtedly made to be played when you feel like shit

I just can't get over how good the whole thing sounds. Sly was a fucked up dude at the time, but to me that just makes it all the more endearing.I just love the way he sounds on it - like he just can't be bothered with it all anymore.

It's easily the most perfect imperfect album I've ever heard. Scarily good.

there & then.My personal favourite of this must be Sly's singing on "Time".
