You don't?! Didn't you wear a "Madonna is my mom" t-shirt to her last tour? lol

Aside from the cross and crown of thorns (she's been there, done that a thousand times before and better) these pictures look more promising than anything I saw from her last tour. I just wish I was more intrigued by the set list. If it finds its way to a television broadcast, I'll watch.

The crown of thorns definitely makes me cringe a little bit, but the clip of Music gives me a little faith in Madonna. I was beginning to think that she was going down the Janet/MJ route of reusing the same choreography ad naseum for her songs, but at least it looked fresh compared to the last few performances of Music that I've seen.

I just don't get the whole equestrian/Jesus/John Travolta/Cat Woman deal she has going. Why?

Oh, could've sworn that Music Live 8, Grammy's, and DWT were all similar. Don't remember Live 8 all that well, though.

probably a scheduling issue... though i've heard rumors that she won't be returning to London after the tour is over.

the shirt actually says "madonna is my mother" so there! wink

its supposed to be a funny shirt and not anything to be taken seriously. i love madonna as far as performers and pop music goes. i just think there is a time when being offensive = being artistic gets old. and for the record, this is not because of my own faith. i would be just as annoyed if she dressed up as hitler or something and mocked the whole jewish haulocaust or if she dressed up as mohammad. the thing is, i expect this sort of thing from a young, immature, and angry artist but not from someone who puts on heirs of a cultured, mature, and sophisticated artiste.

i'm sure the show is gonna rock like a mf'er. i'll just have a slash or something when this bit happens.

no, not at all. it could be cool, i guess, depending on what she's doing and saying at this particular point in the show. most likely, though, its just tired ground being tread again in hopes of stirring up controversy. unfortunately mocking christianity (and usually religion as a whole) is just so commonplace now. its a yawn.

i'm doing my very best to not read the setlist. i did see the first song but that's not a big deal because i kind of figured she had to open with that one. my only request is that you guys don't actually hit the "reply with quote" button regarding the setlist. as it is i'm putting my hand over the left half of my screen whenever i click on this thread and automatically click to the last page of this thread. lol i want to be surprised when it comes to which songs get performed.

right but if i have my computer muted i won't hear which song. does anything on the stage (ie, words on screens, imagery, etc) give away what song it is?
