And, by "psuedo-salsa-influenced" you must mean the Reggaeton fad. I actually don't know where that stands @ the mo'. Are people still making Reggaeton records? It's so last year in my opinion. It really burned out fast.

Her debut I've gathered largely falls in "love" or "hate" status. If you love one track, you'll love it all -- vice versa. She covers Heatwave on one track and another song "Disco" was on the Rush Hour SDTK.

She's still around. Last year she fronted the band CirKus and dropped an LP. Also, she's doing (or did) some tracks with Danger Mouse [Gnarls Barkley]. Plus, she's actually releasing something this year, if I'm not mistaken. http://www.nenehcherry.de usually has some kind of update.
