Toni Braxton I just caught a glimpse of Toni singing a tribute to Stevie Wonder. It just caused me to think that I surely miss the Toni of yesteryear. The one who could sing a Babyface jam better than he could himself. I bought More Than A Woman flop. Could not bear to spend and purchase Libra.
Anyone else out there miss the real Toni? Holla D

I've always liked "I Don't Want" (nice melody and lyric) and "Let It Flow" (nice acoustic guitar and bittersweet lyric) from Secrets (1996). "You're Makin' Me High" is a damn sexy song too, that shit gets me in the mood!

Anyone else out there miss the real Toni? Holla D That Mint Condition penned track was the only thing worth listening too on "more than a woman". That was a nice trcak but the rest was very average. Marriage and kids can do that to your career.

I also like that tune. I think it is also in the soundtrack of Waiting to Exhale "Todo está bien chévere" Stevie

Caught her show last month in Oakland. Shit was hot.
I love me some Toni... "Another Sad Love Song" "Seven Whole Days" "You're Makin Me High" "Love Shoulda Brought You Home" (people at the concert went nuts for that one) "He Wasn't Man Enough" "Libra" isn't bad...but it's not great either. I think her debut is the best. Never heard "More than a Woman." Her best-of is hot tho. I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

I dug Toni's stuff from 1992-1996 including "He Wasn't Man Enough" and "Hit The Freeway". I just heard on EXTRA tonight that she is going to be headlining a Las Vegas Act at the Flamingo Hotel. More details will come out later this week but Toni is doing Vegas. I wish she didn't have to do it but if that's the way to bring home the bacon then I can't be mad at her at all. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

I hear ya! Toni used to do genuinely soulful songs that were classy and well-produced.I'm talking about gems like "Another Sad Love Song","Breathe Again","There's No Me Without You","Let It Flow","Love Shoulda Have Brought You Home" and "Un-Break My Heart".These days, she does hip-hop sounding R&B that sounds cold and generic.I miss the REAL Toni of 93-96!

Exactly, it's the quality of music. Furthermore, i think if her husband stops producing tracks, it could be even better. D

My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying. Memories shared serve each one differently
