a detailed report of the show and the costumes for each set...
***First costume: "Riding Gear" This set starts with "Future Lovers" followed by "Get Together".Next comes "Like A Virgin" in a totally reworked dance version, and "Jump",rehearsed like the album version. This first section features Madonna dressed ala Romy Schneider in Luchino Visconti's "Ludwig",with top hat, jodhpur and leather boots, mixing horsemanship with SM fashion. She will wear a transparent blouse under an asymmetrical jacket-to be alternated with another jet jacket, therefore not always practical for the choreography she has to perform on stage. ***Second costume: "Urban Bedouin" A more serious part of the show includes "Live To Tell",the new "Forbidden Love","Isaac" with singer Yitzhak Sinwani on stage,"Sorry"-which starts with the Pet Shop Boys intro "I'm sorry,so sorry" vocals, and then goes into the album version--and finally,"Like It Or Not" closes this set.A remix of "Sorry" is used as transitional music.Madonna will be wearing a burgundy mousseline blouse with a matching leotard, burgundy velvet trousers and leather boots. ***Third costume: "Glam Rock" A third section sees Madonna playing guitar, bringing back both the rock feel and the intimate moments of her 'Drowned World' and 'Re-Invention Tours'.It opens with "I Love New York" followed by "Ray Of Light" and brand-new acoustic versions of "Drowned World/Substitute For Love" and "Paradise (Not For Me)" where Yitzhak Sinwani is singing a part in Hebrew.Under a black phyton leather jacket adorned with feathers,Madonna will be wearing a T-shirt with a "I Love..." writing that will be changed according to the venue she'll be playing that night. She'll also have a choice of two different trousers for this outfit: one in jeans and one in strecth gabardine. ***Fourth costume: "Madonna Travolta" Disco and uptempo all the way for the final act of the show. The "Travolta" theme has been coincidentally developed separately by both Madonna and Gaultier. The French designer was thinking more of a sort of Las Vegas atmosphere, while the concept Madonna was working on was closer to the style of Abba with lots of white-a color Gaultier confesses not being particular fond of,together with some violet."It looks a bit like "Eurovision Contest" at the beginning,he says, laughing. This section opens with "Music" with a "Disco Inferno" intro."La Isla Bonita" is a guitar-driven dance version with tribal elements and "Erotica/You Thrill Me" is very dancey and sounds nothing like the version we know."Lucky Star" is next, followed by the big finale "Hung Up".Although this is the fourth and final section, the "Madonna Travolta" costume will not be the last one in the show. The Queen of Pop will be wearing her fifth outfit underneath her white suit and black shirt. It will be a leotard, designed this time with an asymmetrical style and sparkling with crystals. She will strip down to this outfit for the "Hung Up" finale.

From Out.com:
Madonna’s Backstage Secrets As Madonna preps for the launch of her new tour at the Forum in Los Angeles, spies are leaking some of the behind-the-scenes dish on Madge’s more pesky peculiarities. E! Online’s Ted Casablanca reports that roadies and dancers alike are forbidden to drink soda from cans. Not that’s it’s all kabbalah water backstage, but “Madonna has this thing against soda,” the backstage spy tells Casablanca. “You can drink soda, but it has to be out of a cup. She doesn’t like to see soda cans. It's kind of giving everyone a headache.” Her thirsty dancers are being worked to within an inch of their malnourished lives. Madge hates whiners, and yawns, and anyone who even dares ask for a short breather in rehearsal: “She’s scary,” says the spy. “She’s always yelling about not being afraid to chew people out. ‘Chewing people out’ is her favorite phrase. Those dancers, it’s like they’re in boot camp.” Still, the show is shaping up with big numbers, including “Like a Virgin,” during which she rides a carousel horse and does some pole dancing, and “La Isla Bonita,” in which Madge dances upon “a Latin guy strumming a black guitar.” You CANNOT use the name of God, or religion, to justify acts of violence, to hurt, to hate, to discriminate- Madonna

I remeber in the 80s madonna went on a date with some guy and she wanted either a coke or pepsi and they didnt have it at the resturant and the date asked the waiter to get her the soda and paid a 100$ tip!! remeber that one
so what happened to her hating soda now?

Um, pretty boring here. I mean we have the leotard than Madonna could have made herself for about 3 dollars - the same leotard that, without ever being sexy, has already been a mainstay of this era - we have the lame-ass SNF suit (normally you'd see those only in old Chris Farley films), some bullshit equestrian gear (Madonna thinks this theme is interesting for some reason ), and what appears to be something my mother would have worn to Woodstock. Oh, and some sort of bellydancing outfit Cher wore on her her last tour. If Lindsay Lohan has already worn it many times and looked like a complete jackass, it's going to look even worse on Madonna: [Edited 5/12/06 18:06pm] That one above is nothing but gigantic professional boxing shorts pullled up high enough that PeeWee Herman could be wearing them. WTF... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
