Janet to perform on Today Show in September

Janet will perform on NBC's Today Show on Friday, September 29, according to the concert schedule on the show's official website.

The New York Daily News reports that Janet's performance will be the very last for this year's annual Today Show summer concert series.

This will be the first time Janet has ever performed on the Today Show. The show films daily in Rockefeller Center.

there is going to be one hell of a large throng out there to see her. I'm tempted to go myself, it's just a short bus ride from DC.

If she is performing then, I'm hoping she'll be on the second single by then? I smell another delay in the album?

When Damita Jo came out, they did a thing where the first 500 or 1,000 (or however many) people who bought the album at the Virgin Megastore in Times Square got special bracelets that they had to wear to see her perform outside for Good Morning America, but I don't think this will be the same thing.
