I was suprised Kiss's "The Elder" was on this list. Not a typical Kiss album but there are plenty of worse albums than this.

There are some on the list I agree with, but having "Thank You" number one is just silly. It's no worse than many other covers albums. I also like the TTD album, and Tin Machine has some good things on it.

I think the Sgt Pepper's s/t intrinsic camp value should elevate it above an appearance on this list - and besides, Earth Wind and Fire's Got To Get You Into My Life is fantastic.

I've never been able to listen to that Fischerspooner record all the way through.

I have 2.

2. Spice Girls :: All Their Solo Albums!
HOGWASH! Emma's "Free Me" was a gem. Melanie C's "Northern Star" & "Beautiful Intentions" each rocked. Plus, Mel B's two LPs had some moments.

20. Mariah Carey :: Glitter OST
Don't have this one, but a few songs on it were bumpin', though -- like "Don't Stop (Funkin' 4 Jamaica)."

30. Michael Jackson :: Invincible
3 good songs. The rest zzz.

I've never heard the album, but I think Emma Bunton's Maybe was an absolute corker of a single - a really wonderful Bacharach & David-style throwback.

nod Agreed. For me, the whole album sparkled. I was really impressed by how well nearly every song complemented each other.

Maybe we're not "supposed to" like Alanis at all beyond Jagged Little Pill... but there are some good songs on Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie.

And how many of these albums did they happen to give four-star reviews back in the day? And putting "Metal Machine Music" up there just shows how much of a pussy you'd have to be in order to make a list like this, I think I have five of those from the list however, altough for my own defense I have to say I've been trying to sell the Kula Shaker album to exchange stores for ages.

The Beck album is really good. That's kind of a strange selection. The Oasis album is their worst, but one of the 50 worst of all-time?

No doubt on #49, I'm only surprised that Neil showed on the list only once! I remember all the critical acclaim when TTD's second came out, so I'm surprised to see it on the list. How you can choose a Tin Machine album and not choose Bowie's 'Never Let Me Down' is beyond me. It's more like, 'albums we love to hate'...most of these albums have some redeeming qualities.

And Beck? Someone's got a grudge...

I think NME hated that Beck album. It got like a 2 or 3/10. But yeah, it's kind of ridiculous.
