Where does she consider herself in the music industry nowadays?

I was just thinking about India the other day. Acoustic Soul blew me away...and the next thing I know "Video" is on some feminine hygiene ad on the telly.

What kind of changes have she noticed in the music industry since the release Acoustic Soul up to now? Are they more receptive and open to artists experimenting and expanding, or do they expect another formulaic radio-friendly hit?
How did you get that opportunity? Hope you will share that experience. I really want to see her perform next month in the south bay. "Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!

It was a radio contest. I am so excited. I Am Not My hair brings me to tears.
