Okay, this is really embarrassing. And I've been known to do this from time to time.

But I bought that one the day it came out and still have never listened to it. boxed

Why do you think it sucks so bad?

Crappy stock-sound drum programming with corny lyrics that made me cringe. *Nothing* that shows their musicianship as a band or awesome sampling skills.

I heard they had a few lawsuits from Hello Nasty that really turned them off of sampling, but the least they could do, besides stripping the music away to just a backbeat (which did not sound like a throwback to mid 80s rap or Licensed To Ill), is do their funk band style.

I'm gonna finally listen to it this week. It's so strange that I never did, cuz I'm a HUGE fan of their older stuff. I guess the singles weren't clicking with me.

Just out of curiosity, how come you rate "Check Your Head" so low on your list? I think they reached the pinnacle of their powers on that one.
