I can't decide . . . Carly Simon's "You Belong To Me" or The Doobie Brothers' "You Belong To Me"?

Which one do y'all think is better?

Both are great renditions.

They're both good, but I'll give the edge to the chick whose large mouth comes courtesy of the silver spoon with which she was born.

Easy to do. They cowrite it and - if memory serves correctly - Carly sang backup on the Doobies' version.

Doobie Brothers. I even like Anita Baker's version over Carly's.

Carly's The Doobies and Anita's are all good.

I like Carly's the best.

Carly's version music

I didn't even hear the Doobie's version until years later.

JazzyJ

I like Carly's best because of the sax break in the middle of the song and the discofied-jazzy way the song ends

Doobie Bros. because its a little warmer i.e. Michael McDonalds'voice.

Anita Baker because it's her, period.(She does a good job of the song too).
