"Goodbye my old friend..." (David Lee Roth goes bye-bye on radio)

4 months? The dude lasted over 4 and a half months on the radio. I liked his show when I got a chance to hear it. He was an interested guy. Came across as very arrogant, patronizing to callers sometimes, a bit of an a-hole at times but that's what made his show so entertaining to me. I know rocket scientist arn't running the CBS radio division but still would giving the guy a year been such a bad thing? I wanted him to get back with Van Halen and wone thing necessarily doesn't have anything to do with the other but he was a lil' more high profile on the radio and that couldn't have hurt.

Scatter shooting while I wonder if David Lee Roth is going back to helping people in the back of an ambulance now.

Friday was the last show.

He's better off leaving there.

The CBS fuckers probably did it to get O & A on to directly compete with Stern (like any of them care).

He said he's already got offers for satellite and TV. Hope he does TV.

I listened to a bit on the net and it wasn't as intolerable as everyone said. It was different, that's for sure! I think they suck but someone had to be the scarfical lamb and Adam and Rover just weren't big enough names (even though they weren't doing all that well in the ratings, with Adam doing worse in LA than Dave did in NY). CBS sucks and this new O&A move might do better than Dave but won't touch Howard's ratings....In the end it will help him and hurt XM.
